k20r

my friend did a k20r swap in his EG omg.. its a monster.. its insane.. soo fast.. he runs consistant 12.7-8 in the 1/4 on azenis... without launching ... on stock motor with just header and exhaust and hondata... that thing is amazing.. definately worth the money..

this came from jdmcivic.com

i was not aware there was such a thing as a k20r

does he mean k20a

first glance its a k20a2 valve cover with a k20a spark plug cover. Could have swapped valve covers so no one knows its a A type R?

btw saying k20r is like saying b18r. Its a k20 out of a type r.

TrboEM2 is an unknown quantity at this point
idk, but he has a hell of alot more room in his engine bay ith that swap compared to the 7thgen witha k20 swap. in the 7thgen, the intake manifold, is right against the front with like no room at all.

if i had that car, i would toss a big *** supercharger on there case it has so much room up front.

The k20r is the jdm k20, right? Isn't that the same as saying k20a. The k20 "r" has 220hp.
