im screwed
im screwed
trying to get the oil sender into the 3 way fitting....the wire pulled out of the oil sensor.
Now im left with an oil sender w/o the wire hookup. What do i do?

Same thing happened to me. There is a small electrical fitting that you can pull off of the sender. If you can reuse it or go to a hardware store and get another one. Then just crimp the wire back down in the fitting and push it back on the end. Make sure you have the protective rubber back on it.

The wire is supposed to come off. Look under the shroud and you should see a little connector thingie that should just clip back on to the sensor. If that broke off (i.e., the rubber shroud is no longer attached to the wire, you're gonna need to find the little connector clip that was under it, make an extension wire and somehow splice the wire back into the car.
I had to extend mine when I put my pressure gauge in... I just added about 6" of extra wire between the sensor and the wire harness. No big deal.
