Junkyard set up
Junkyard set up
Ok i was doing a search to see if i could find anyone who listed some sites regarding to parts for a t3/t4 set up on a 02ex, i just need a list of sites regarding all parts needed to make this possible, im trying to get this completed on a small budget so dont list sites with like a $1400 intercooler....if anyone could help i would appreciate it.
-thanks
*if this has been covered in a thread already im sorry, i looked so dont get pissy and try and flame me

Ummm, like u said, junk yard it. You should know what you need if your trying to make one.
A friend of mine used a t25, with custom piping, EVOIII front mount, and all the other goodies were new.

wow i take it no one is reading, i need sites for parts becuase no one in my town can really help me and so thats why i came here but looks like that isnt turnin out to good either. Not totally junkyard it , as in putting pieces of parts from other cars and weldin them on or something. I am talkin about people who make intercoolers besides greddy or hks or something, parts that do the same thing but for half the cost. thats what im looking for , didnt think this would be so difficult

i was in the same boat as you..heres what i did
Intercooler $240...www.johnnyracecar.com awesome service and quality i DO recommend them
Turbo..buy used, new will be expensive if you cant find a T3/T4 get a T28
Manifold, HKS has one, T28 or T25 will bolt right up $200-250 lots of sites carry it
www.jegs.com custom U or J bends for IC piping...for 5 pieces cost 70 bucks shipped
Fuel system will be your most expensive part, you dont go cheap here...some options are the SF kit (600), Greddy emanage and injectors(500 or so) but you have to convert to a return fuel system another 100 or so
BOV, buy used...seen some old DSM ones sell for 30 bucks on ebay
Boost controller, buy a manual one(turbo XS), 70 from TONS of site
Couplings, T clamps, etc. You can find it anywhere, just search...JCwhiteney.com has some, www.turbohose.com also its everywhere, even ebay
exhaust flanges, 02 sensor bungholes etc. check your local muffer shops they got them
With all this boost your MAP sensor will throw a code, not to worry, Synapse makes a MAP sensor missing link, i have a brand new one for sell if youre interested (50)
If you go this way you should be under $2000, but depending on how much power you want (200whp+) you will need to put out some cash, or there goes your motor/tranny...also i definately if you havent yet to put in a different clutch...and dont get on people because they're not help, maybe people havent read this b/c they've been busy with their turbo project as well
