Pictures of SF Manifold

Hey Guys, I have been asking Catalyst to send me pictures of my 'kit in progress' and finally I get these today. So I thought I'd share them with you people to see what you guys think of it. Its just the manifold for now and I think its not even completely finished. Hey at least something better than nothing. I dont know much about manifolds, but is this the way its suppose to look like? I ordered a stainless equal mani.

I wasn't going to buy one of their manifolds. Then, I stopped by their shop the other day and looked at one of their new equal length manifolds. It was probably one of the most well-made manifolds I've seen for our cars. I just ordered one.

Yeah - that manifold looks good. They tack welded all of the pipes together before doing a final weld (which is what you see). They also countersunk the pipes into the flange so that there will not be any exhaust restriction coming off of the head.

They are improving their quality significantly compared to before.....Can't wait to get my new one now!

I was thinking of Jet coating before (an extra $150) but then dropped the idea. Has anyone done this yet? Is it worth it?

I am glad that it looks good. And also happy to see some positive views about SF after a long time. I hope the rest of my kit is prepared on time and gets shipped accordingly.

stainless holds in the heat better from the exhaust........ heat = energy.......energy = power
