anyone tried using this in their car.im thinking about running it with my sf turbo kit and upping the boost to 14 psi.my motors mildly built,do you think this leaded fuel will affect anything besides fouling the o2 and catalytic converter.i keep hearing people using this in their motors(b18,16,etc.)
ill try it in two weeks and see what happens.i really dont care about my motor cause im looking into a k20 swap.

Serious overkill.. but it should not harm anything. For only 14psi on our motors, 101 unleaded or 110 low lead should be more than enough.
The boosted s2000 up the street from me uses 101 from the drum in my garage, and he's never had any problems... even with 12psi and his compression is a lot higher than ours.

My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

I agree that is some overkill... but it'll work for ya. You may want to run a fuel cleaner through your system after words to help get the crap out of the fuel inectors, usually nothing gets inthere, but deposites can form.
If you don't care about your motor... I'll buy the darn thing...

with this fuel how much can you boost on a stock motor without breaking anything?is it still the same as running pump gas?

holy smokes 83 dollars, then again its going practically over seas, but i paid 35 bucks for a 5 gallon. i spiked 15psi and made 256whp, but my car was tuned to that point, so i wouldnt say throw this in the tank and turn the boost **** up

Your going to have a big problem. Do you have anything other than the SF kit? The SF fuel kit is only good for up to 12psi. And your stock injectors are not going to like what your about to do.
Its a celebration bitches!

there is a 76 down the street that sells 100 octain from the pump... its 5.49 a gallon... so 5 gallons is 27.45... dam i feel soo lucky.. well too bad i dont' have a turbo, or else i would be filling up with that every day....
Sorry for reviving an old thread, but couldn't you try adding toluene into the tank to boost the octane rating on the gasoline? I've heard that since the octane rating on toluene is comparable of that to race-car fuels that addition of it to our tanks can be used as a substitute for pricier race fuels.

my setup
basic sf kit at 12psi with c16.couldnt run any higher cause it felt stutterish(spelling)
14'' alloys with yokohama drag radials.

9.454 1/8 et
81.20 1/8 mph
14.310 1/4 et

only thing thats holding me back is the fuel system.i wanted to run it at 14psi.

well the only problem im having is traction at this track.i am still spinning off my launch and also when shifting to second.i may use slicks for the next race.
as for the motor its just got a built head.my pistons were 1mm too big so i didnt finish the bottom end.
will the vafc2 help with my fuel issue so that i can run atleast 14psi?
