hey guys...me and a buddy of mine are having full-race.com style stainless turbo manifolds being built for our cars...his is en EX (squirelcivic) and mine is a DX...no there are not being built by Full-race.com...there are being made by a local stainless welder that has agreed to build them for us and after reviewing many of their pictures and taken measurements from our cars, he said that it will be no problem to make them...if the prototypes turn out to be good, we will be sellin the manifolds for a fraction of the price that full-race sells them for...starting out, they will only be for the d17....

what i want to know, is who might be interested in buyin them.....

they will be stainless equal length manifolds PROFESSIONALLY welded!!!!

price is undetermined at this point, but were are thinking somewhere between 450-550....maybe lower....it all depends...like i said the price isnt writen in stone....

the welder works full time so he will be making the manifolds and testing fitment in his spare time, so it may be a couple of weeks before the prototypes are done...let me know...and if you dont know what full-race manis look like, well here is a link: http://www.full-race.com/pd_manifolds.html

If I can keep A/C I'm down. Of course I'd have to see dyno results between yours and SF's

Too bad we didn't do this about 3 months ago, when I originally ordered my manifold - I'd have one by now!

Lovefab makes a similar, yet equally quality crafted manifold. I asked if they would make one for our car, but they need a model. I am in FL, they are in Illinois I believe....

well, we have been debating this for a while and we finally decided to get the ball rolen...the welder has been the one that has been after us about it...he is excited to do them....and yes you will still have ac....i wouldnt do it if i couldnt keep my ac, cause i have to have it....louisiana heat sucks...we are going to try to have the turbo flange hit in the same place the SF flange hits, so that if anyone with an SF kit wants the mani they can still use there turbo and the ic pipes and stuff with still work out too...

LoveFab makes a d series manifold like Full-Race.

Scroll down and look for LoveFab SST - http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=808342

LoveFab and Full-Race manifolds are no joke. Look at the quality of the welds. I know for a fact that Full-Race factors spool time into their manifold design. I'm pretty sure Cody from LoveFab does also.

Do some research on Full-Race and LoveFab, alot of high horsepower hondas are rocking their manifolds.

I'm ready to buy one right now. I'm in, but I will probably already have my whole turbo setup done by the time you have these for sale.

Last I talked to JW, he was selling his car....doubt it'll happen but I am going to have full-race prototype a kit for the d17, using my car as the model shortly after the new year.

Full race doesn't offer fuel setups with their kits.....you would have to do your own fuel setup.
