Hey everyone! I finally got the money together to buy a turbo kit for my Civic. After doing my research, I concluded that the best option is to go for the SF kit (I hope I am right). I have been talking to Catalyst, he has been a great help answering all my queries. Just a few more things to be cleared out before I put in the money order in the mail. This is what I am getting so far:
The Basic Kit plus:
*Stainless equal length manifold
*upgraded turbo
*alcohol injection with pump & tank
*external wastegate
What cost do you guys think should be for all this? Though I have set my figures with Catalyst but just wanted to know what you guys think?
I also have to get an electronic boost controller and a turbo timer. What do you people suggest? Greddy? HKS? Apexi? and what model would suit best our cars? I would appreciate to hear from all those who have had some experience with it?
Thanks!

Alcohol: Yes $100 but this doesnt include pump and tank
And I dont think a "Stainless" Equal Length Mani would just cost a $100 more than the normal one?

All I can say is - be prepared to wait a long length of time if you plan on getting the upgrades. I didn't even order the whole kit and I am still waiting on my parts....Your probably looking at like 2 months...

It cost me me almost 3 times as much to make the stainless plates for them. Not including mikes welding and material cost for the tubing.

According to this post (that I read by searching the forum), http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...hreadid=133157
the total price should come as follows:
$100 for the turbo
$100 for the alcohol
$125 for alcohol tank & pump
$400 for Stainless Equal Manifold
and as Catalyst quoted, another $250 for external wastegate. All this totals up to $975. This plus the base kit $3100 comes to a grand total of $4075 without shipping charges. So coming back to my question, DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT THIS PRICE IS REASONABLE FOR THIS KINDA SETUP? (might get a discount of $150-$200 if buying all this together)

I think I have done all the research I need. As I said in the first post I have set my figures (meaning cost) with Catalyst, but just wanted to know what you guys think of it? so I can compare that cost figure with the one I have and see if there is any difference. I dont think that kinda info would be available from "searching the forum" unless someone has asked the 'exact' same question before.

The alcohol injection can be used with ur windshield wiper tank, so now you cant use your windhsield wiper fluid. If you buy the tank and pump there will be an extra tank so you can still use the windshield wiper fluid, so if you need it then get the tank if you dont, then dont.
