k20 swap parts

k20 swap parts

i am a couple days away from sending my 01 ex to the shop to get a k20a2 swap done and i have a few questions. . . i currently have an AEM intake , dc ceramic header, and dc tcs catback exhaust. . can they be used on the new motor? . .i would like to make them work if all possible

The catback exhaust will have to be extended, so yes you can use that. The header, nope. The intake, you should be able to cut it and use it.

like jodster said, exhaust has to be modified, the pipe has to be extended and bent different and a new flange that connects to the cat, either from a RSX exhaust, or a big block chevy flange in my case. header will not fit. intake is a completely different side and it exits sideways instead of form the top so its gonna take alot of modding to make it work. You'd probably be better off just buying a new intake. A cold air from an SI will work, or any short ram works.
