I am buying a 95 hatch SI from a guy that had a b18c1 engine in it for $1200, he said he would sell me the entire swap other than the trans. for an extra $1000. The only thing that may be wrong with the engine is a lifter or valve. Should i go ahead and pay the extra $1000 for the engine or just buy the car and get a different engine. By the way right before he took the engine out it ran a 13.6 quarter mile.

$2,200 for a hatch that already has a b18 gsr motor in it ? I'd say do it and build up the motor since you have to rip it apart anyway.

the only problem is it doesnt have a transmission, and it needs a new valve and possibly a lifter.

so at the max maybe another 1000, so all in all 3200 for car, and complete motor, and u can put it all in urself, right

If you want to start on a different project get it.

That could be turbo or swap money ya know. It all depends on what you wanna do.

Or i can get an H22 full drop out for $1500, or should i just go ahead with the b18c1?
