i'm wondering what kind of gauges you guys have for your turbo and what do you consider normal exhaust gas temperature with turbo?

Man i did all this research on fuel injection (Bosh has osme books out good price with good information. They own the rights and hardware to ALL fuel injection systems) I recall if you have the perfect stoichometric ratign of 14.7 Kg of air to 1kg of fuel you are roughly around 500c Im not sure 100% i will research it again when i get home from work.

Air fuel is a MUST if you do not wanna burn holes in your pistons or do other nasty ****... Normal operation you want to be running at 14.7: 1 Air fuel ratio. High performance applications is 12:1 air fuel ratio.

Exhaust temp is another good precaution to burning holes in your pistons.

Boost gage is standard If you are really bad *** invest in an absolute pressure gage. Vacuum really does not exists. You have lower the Atmospheric pressure.

At sea level Atmospheric pressure is 14.7 PSI which should be 0 on your boost gage. Most people live well above sea level, and if you want to see really how much your motor is boosting then get a Absolute pressure boost gage. (FYI: 1 BAR = 14.7 PSI = 1 Atmosphere)

Oil pressure is another must. You wouldn't want oil system failure and have pressure drop to your turbo and then have the shaft seize at 100,000 rpms. I haven't really ever seen this but it is another good precaution to protect your investment.

actually a/f ratio is only good if you have a wideband O2 sensor. Other wise it's just for looks because it does not measure the ratio correctly.

If it were me I would go with boost, oil pressure, and then probably oil temp, or water temp. EGT is nice but they have also been known to be inacurate.
