Engine Swap Help Pls!!!
Well I was planning to upgrade my breaks into big brake kit but somebody f@#$ that up coz, they said it's a waste of money...
I don't know if he's bullshitin or tryin to look out for me...
Anyway, so aight for now, f!@# the breaks, instead of spending 1500 on breaks I rather get an engine swap...
Can ya'll write down the engines that would fit on the 2k1Civics? I've heared about the H22's and the K20's but I'm not so sure bout the rest,
Can ya'll gimme the cheapest prices ya'll seen around the internet and also how much boost can these engines hold for all stock motor with no internal work... Would it make a lot of ponies if I get the h22's, k20's and b18's P&P? if so, how much?
Please don't ask me how much I wanted to spend or what kinda gas i'm planning to use coz I don't have the answer at this time... Or go ahead and ask, LOL Thanks!!!

legal swaps:
2k1 b18 into ONLY a 2k1 civic
k20 into 2k1+ civic
k24 into 2k1+ civic
been done:
k20 into 2k1+ civic
being done (last i heard):
k24 into 2k1+ civic
k20 into 2k1+ civic
what i would want:
k24 into 2k1+ civic
2k1 b18 into ONLY a 2k1 civic
k20 into 2k1+ civic
k24 into 2k1+ civic
been done:
k20 into 2k1+ civic

dont tell him he can put in a b18. The only engines you would want to put in would be the stock d17a2 motor, or the k20, either version, which is the rsx, new si hatches motor(160 hp), and the rsx type s.(200 hp)
And i would suggest that before you do any swap or turbo, learn about all of your options first. I love the guys that know nothing about their car, but have the money to just get everything in the world done to it.

well its not like it comes with the 6 piston calipers or nothing, that only leaves the rotors and brackets, it was a long time ago before AEM had them for our application, we made a 00 SI kit fit
You pay me enough money I will cram a C32 Into your Civic.... Anything CAN fit... It is howmuch you wish to spend and how much work you want to be done.
BAH dont waste yer time with AEM or Brembo...
Look up willwood.

92-99 Civic!
Did that fit with the 2k1 Civic? Some modifications done to it? i.e. drilling a bigger hole? I haven't heared that one before, hmmmm...
Wait a minute! I made this thread for engine swap not break upgrade! thanks for the input though...
