Ok. I'm asking for pictures of anyone with a modified or custom fuel rail.
If you're usin the stock injectors w/2 extra injectors in the charge pipe setup then I don't need your pics unless you've upgraded your injectors or converted to a return fuel system.
We took off the fuel rail today. DSM's will not fit. They're 3" long compared to our stock 2". And shaving the TPS will NOT work. i'd have to shave it off completely to get dsm's to fit.
Otherwise, please just post up or send me (SpdRcrChk@aol.com) your custom or modified fuel rail pics. I ALSO need to see these because i dont know where the hell the fitting for the return fuel conversion would go.
btw...does anyone know what the length of an RC injector is?

See here
Its a steel -6AN weld fitting, from Jegs or summitracing. I believe Aeroquip made it.....Earl's Plumbing also makes one.
The location on the rail *should* work, I've looked in the car, and there appears to be enough space / clearance to install in this area. My weldor brazed this fitting on, I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't leak.
As far as injectors, get venoms....they are the only ones which will fit at the moment (unless you get RC's and do some sort of a modication). Just make sure you get the correct P/N, or like me you'll have to send them back and wait
But oh well....Hope this helps...

Look at what i can make!
edit: see next two posts
It has removable end caps on both ends for use with return style fuel systems, and also has a port for a fuel pressure guage. It is center feed to get rid of the pressure pulses that other fuel rails have problems with.

is there any math that u do when making parts, like manifolds, and or fuel rails, i mean the shop i took my car had to make things fit on my car, but yet they couldnt make me a manifold.

I'm not quite sure - but it might have something to do with OBDII and the EPA.....Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 01+ civics are the first gen OBDII cars (compared to the 00 and earlier). Many companies may not want the hassle of applying for licenses, etc.....
Other than that, you're right, its not difficult to develope products for our car if you know what you are doing (and have a nice shop).....

Other companies focus more on making money. We focus more on the products. As if you havent noticed, our kits are pretty high quality. And they are still affordable. They are all hand made. You get the custom kit quality for the price of a kit.
These fuel rails are no different. They eliminate the pressure pulses that are generated by the injectors opening and closing. The center feed lets an equal amount of fuel to all of the injectors, whereas other rails will let the #4 cylinder have all it wants at the expense of the #1 cylinder.
We dont just take metal and weld it together and call it a part. We put time and effort into every part we make. I know i dont like waiting 2 years for a part to come out, so why should i make you guys wait that long?

Hey Cat,
Is there any modifications needed to make that fuel rail fit on our d17's? At the same time can a fpr be able to fit on or do we need to convert to "fuel return style?"

The fuel rail does not come in the kit. It is just an add-on.
I can tell you guys how to do a return style fuel system. I am not a big fan of it because it is basically the same thing my fuel system does. Its just my fuel system has much less clutter, is smaller, and for the most part, cheaper.
