Filling nitrous?

What kind of place do you get your nitrous filled at? I've been searching all over my area for places that fill nitrous. I've found not one shop yet?

For those with nitrous, where do you get yours filled? Is it mostly performance shops or what? Help a brotha out!

Thanks guys.

there's a local welding suply shop where I like that charges all kinds of gas cylinders including nitrous, you could try to find one in your area.

I'm pretty sure Dick's Sporting Goods does it around here.

Check local paintball places also.

Nope, N20 is N20. I.e. gas is gas

the medical grade has some sulfur stuff in it to make it smell bad so junkies don't abuse it. the sulfur makes no difference so it doesn't really matter

No, the nitrous kits for cars have stuff it in so you CANT sniff it. If it were medical grade, they would WANT people to be able to sniff it to put them to sleep. N20 is N20, but I highly doubt someone is gonna give you medical grade nitrous oxide knowing that you can do whippits with it.

Just to clarify. Medical grade N20 is pure N20. Meant for putting people in a mellow giddy-like state.

Automotive grade N20 has a small trace of Hydrogen Sulfide added (H2S). This has no effect on performance, it's used as a deterrent so people don't go around huffing on street nitrous. In theory you could use either Medical or Automotive grade nitrous in your tank. However, medical grade nitrous is very hard to get (you can only get it if you have a legitimate medical use for it - dentist or surgeon).

If there aren't any perforance shops in your area, you can probably get nitrous from a compressed gas outlet. These places sell gases to industry, for welding and manufacturing processes. At my work we use Oxygen, Acetylene and Nitrogen by the truckload...
