It all depends on what you have done to your engine. If it is stock, i wouldnt go past 8-9 psi. But if it is built, it has the capability to make 450 whp.
I don't understand, I thought alcohol injection was designed to increase octaine so you could boost higher. Were you running 11lbs at one point? And if not, what are you running now.

Catalyst- hey how much will mileage affect our cars if we put one of your turbo setups into our cars with around 100k miles on em?? Just wondering down the road, cause with that many miles I might be able to afford one???

You have to remember, with this kit, you are making more power with less boost than the other kits. So 9 psi on this kit is more like running about 15 or more psi on the base kit.
The alcohol just prevents detonation, it doesnt make the engine any stronger.
I am currently sitting at 8 psi right now, and i can take out brand new C5 corvettes. In fact, i took one out last night.
JS...
The engine should last longer than the time you have your car. If you take care of it, the longevity should still remain close to the same.

VIDEOS!!!!! Where are the damn videos???? Props on the car man. Once again SF has outdone themselves. I would have gone with the kit if I didn't decide to get the WRX. Living in NH, AWD just seemed more pleasing.
Heh, no I already understood that. I know that properly designed engines with upgraded components can handle upwards of 20++ boost. You can run 11lbs without alcohol injection but your going to get knocking. My question was did it increase octane to a point where you can move the boost up without having to worry about any negative consequences. Which was answered. Thnx Catalyst.

You have to understand that your internals can only handle so much force. Alcohol injection helps with detonation but eventually your ringlans and rods are going to give under enough stress.

the upgraded turbo is just a different turbo. All the same pipes, manifold, etc. The Stage II kit is all the different piping, comes with equal length manifold, intake manifold, turbo, etc.

The piping is different. The turbo is a completely different turbo. It is a custom combonation that we have made that actually is better than our upgraded one. It should be able to handle 450 whp without straining the bearings.
The other differences are the manifold, alcohol injection, downpipe, intake manifold, and some other small changes
