RSX interior swap
this aint about engines but its about a swap and there was no "interior" topic forum from what i could see, but anyways, u know how u can do interior swaps in the older civics from integras, well has anyone thought or done a rsx interior swap into a 7thgen civic, if not, its still on my list of things to be done

it would be so tight, plus to have a stock looking tach that goes to 9k, o listen to this tim wants to stroke my engine and sleeve it and then use the rods that i have laying around, i didnt know they could be stroked, but he said he found out how, if u havent been there in a while the place has changed hes bought all kinds of new equipment, he bought a wideband that he can weld bungs into his DP's to do wideband tuning on the street, 1400 bucks for that thing, he also uped his pricing, since my car. .....should have done it back in the day JOD, emanage install, 1 day tuning=drive home and to work the following day, and i base map 600 bucks, AEM plug and play tuning and install 1200 bucks, up to 3 hrs dyno plus tuning, and of course intall, which is actually cheap considering that dynamic where he gets everything charges 1500, and XS engineering charges 2500 bucks....plug and play might be the way to go but not at that price

Damn, yeah I would love to have him start working on my car, but I don't have the money right now. LOL I'm hoping too in by spring. Hopefully he can do the swap at a good price, if not than I'm going to have to do it myself. Which doesn't really bother me. I just know it would **** Tim off though. LOL

more than likely he wont bc he will use the people he trust, based on the fact that he told me he never heard of them he prob wont, try this approach, tell tim what u want and not from who, let him do the research and find out who he can get things from, why u ask, he prob wont warranty anything he orders from a supplier he doent know at all..all u really need is springs and retainers to rev higher, hes a skunk2 dealer and im sure he can get them to make something......here is my advice, dont tell tim who u want it from just tell him what u want to do. k20 swap from tim would probly cost 1000-1200 plus parts

Yeah I mean As long as he can get the motor for a good price things will be fine. Cause I'm not going to keep the AC or PS so that will less work to have to do. Mostly because he would have to make custom lines and stuff for it. So It should cost me more than $5K or $6K for him to do it. I'm just going to have to go down there tomorrow.

his price for swapping motors includes all thingsthat come with the other motor and things like ac and ps, keep PS, unless u just like to have yank the wheel to turn he doesnt charge different price for not having to install ac and such, so whetheru have PS and AC put in it will still be the same labor charge

Really I didn't know that. Damn, than it should cost but $5K than. Thats saying he can get a K20A2 around $3K. Thats what I've been seeing them go for. He told me he could get the K20A ITR motor for $5K so the K20A2 should much cheaper. Now all I need is the money. LOL

yea dude he dont charge 50 bucks for ac install and 50 for ps and 100 for battery hook up and 20 for putting the spark plugs in, its all in one. he charges 800 for swap, the k20 would be 1k-1200 due to dificulty and paul hasnt done one, and all the extra wiring
