That's my thoughts too! With the proper ignition timing control you shouldn't need alcohol injection at 10 PSI or so, just retard the timing a little up top and your good to go.
I don't like alcohol injection as much because you are not 100% certain that the alcohol is mixing completely with the air - which means that some cylinders may not be getting any, which means those cylinders could be detonating.....
You guys just sold me on the E-manage, I'm going to buy one - but I need some more info. Where did you all find wiring info for our cars? I have the helm manual, but I'm not sure if it would be a big help.

as long as u have the ecu pin out sheet, and the instructions for the emanage, just connect the wires accordingly i think, i have a big thick green book that has everything about the car in it, im also up to 13psi with the timing retard

The E-manage is simply amazing for the money. I got mine for $270 shipped, got the ignition and injector harnesses local for $45 + tax. The installation is easy with the nice bullet connectors that are supplied. I can't wait to try it out on my sub injector setup.

I was going to make an E-manage DIY, but nobody else was using it so I didn't. But I'll make up a wiring diagram for it in a couple hours:
E-manage
Ignition Harness
Injector Harness
Rotary Settings

Theoretically yes - but you must be careful. Each car is different, and will need to be tuned differently. Remember also that you'll be approaching the limit of the head gasket as well.....

The E-Manage will need to be tuned.....You need to have the right fuel ratio, plus the proper ignition retard to prevent knocking. Once you have these you should be golden....
This is why tuning can be tricky, and also why you go a little at a time, making small adjustments - such as bumping boost by 1 PSI (if even that) increments when you get above 8 or so.

There is a place here in Greensboro, NC that does dyno tuning on imports. You are up by Fort Lee right? It would be about 3 hours straight down the interstate for you. If you are interested email me at ccajun4real@nc.rr.com and I will send you the link.

The dyno will show you if hp or torque drops off at a certain point and you will be able to fix it with tuning....so yes it's necessary
