i need help ASAP!

I'm doing my engine swap right now, I'm just putting a new EX motor in my car cause i threw a rod. I can't get the motor to break lose from the car and everything is on bolted from what we can tell? My question is do i have to take out the tranny to put in the new motor? We were trying to do it with out taking out the tranny! If you have taking your motor out please HELP!!!

I've taken the tranny out before. You have to take the axels out, unhook the clutch cables, take off the subframe, break loose the bolts that go from the tranny to the motor, and poof its out! But seriously, what are you stuck on? Is it the motor mounts?

LOL theres a little more to it than that. That is a quick over look of tranny removal. There is more things like taking out three motor mounts, taking the intake off, and taking the down pipe off of the exhaust. I'm sure there are a few more things to it, but like I said before its been a while since I've done it.

ive removed my motor... and no u dont need to remove the tranny to get it out... but u DO need to disconnect the axels, undo the shiftlinkages, unblot the 4 Motor/Tranny mounts... yes, theres 4 not 3. and the engine comes right out... well almost... u have to angle it .. using a load leveler to get it out but.. its pretty easy... i removed mine in 3 hours. no problems.

Yes I know there is 4 motor mounts. I was talking about removing the tranny. I had to remove 3 out of 4 motor mounts.
