SF turbo kit installed

I got my SF turbo kit installed today. I have lx auto sedan. It's a great kit. I don't know why i kindda running lean. When i press gas all the way, the a/f gauge goes all the way down to lean. Is it normal?? The mechanics who installed the kit for me(Knowledge Performance) said i need a bigger injector and safc. The fuel pump is kindda loud. Eevertying except those are great. Thx to SF and Catalyst and Knowledge Performance in GA.

I'm running 4 psi now. i keep at 4psi just because I'm worried about the transitmittion (auto). I didn't go dyno yet, but i raced with my friend's rsx-s with intake and exhaust. First gear, we were dead even. After rsx-s shifted to 2nd gear which is right in middle of the V-tec he started to pull away. We shut down when he shifted to third and he was about one car length in front of me. So far, transmittion is holding well without the tranny cooler.

I will take some pic and maybe vedio when i have camera.

also, the a/f ratio will go lean it you give it gas, but only momentarily. As soon as you go full throttle it should go straight to rich.

Also, your mechanic doesnt understand how the fuel system works, or else he wouldnt have said you needed bigger injectors. Trust me, until you are running 12 psi or more, you will not need bigger injectors or an safc.

Yeah that fuel system that came with your kit is proven to handle 12psi. 12psi if your engine can handle it.

i don't think thats normal unless you installed the fuel system wrong... the pfm is supposed to add more fuel per pound of boost to keep from leaning out and ultimatly blowing up the engine... i think it would be a good idea if you took a second look on the installation of the fuel system cause that doesn't sound right...

i was thinking about that too. I didn't notice anything wrong eveytime i press gas all the way. just the a/f gauge that shows the i am running very lean(cannot see the light anymore). But the a/f gauge responds well with the gas pedal.

detonation sounds like static in your engine. You can usually only hear it if your AC is off, the windows are rolled up, and the radio is off.
