light flywheel good for boost?

I am buying the Centerforce Dual-friction clutch for my 02 EX. I know it's cost effective to change the flywheel at the same time, but is it really worth it when running boost? My friend had both changed on his 94 Probe GT, the idle sucked and would fluctuate. Plus, unless you shifted fairly quickly, the rpms would drop so fast that it would be extremely rough everytime the clutch was re-engaged. Basically, I'd rather put the "$2-300 toward my turbo kit if it really isn't necessary. lemme know what you guys think, btw, the Centerforce can be found HERE for only $203.99.

"Unique Weighted Clutch System Provides Progressive Holding Power that Increases As RPM Increases! "

- that is what mainly cought my eye, seems to be a great choice for boost - very driveable.

I have an 8lbl flywheel (stock about 13.5) and I have no idle problems and the car definately revs faster and the gears feel shorter.

oh and unless you "granny shift" (take like 1.5 seconds to change gears) then the RPM's dont really drop to fast.

i have the 11lb ACT flywheel.. goes nice with my 6puck.. and revs DONT drop that fast.. anything below 10.5 lbs is toooooo light for our cars.. we need a little heaier cause we only rev to 7k or so.. the 8lb or so ones are designed to rev to 9k.. its too light for our application imo.. and the opinion of several others around here..

I also have the ACT clutch (street disc / heavy duty pressure plate) It engages very smooth and hasnt slipped at all. I dont want to argue he point to death, but the 8 lbl flywheel lets the engine rev up fatser thus it spools faster.
