it was a long night with things just not going our way... we were done with the initial installation in like 4 hours including all the breaks, food, and chattin' in between... then like an addition 5-6 hours of troubleshooting and fine tuning....
the car is set at about 6 psi now and it runs GREAT.... it pulls really hard and came above and beyond my expectations.... the hour and a half drive home was alright considering i've been up 21 hours or so... everytime i caught myself dozing, i'd just hit boost and that always got me alert again..
my pipes were powdercoated red, i decided to go with the hks supersequencial BOV which mike welded onto the charge pipe, utilizing autometer ultra lite A/F and boost gauges (no pod for them yet), blitz dcII turbo timer, water alcohol injection, and a couple other things here and there to make it so much better....
i wanna give MAD props to Mike Stafford and Mike (Catalyst) for installing the turbo kit yesterday at the lacr meet... they honestly know what they are doing and i highly recommend their work... not only their turbo kits but other parts to come later..
I'm a PROUD and SATISFIED member of the SF family...
i'll update with PICS after i'm done washing the car...
here are some pics...
thanks again for the pics chad (nightkids)
videos will be up as soon as i upload them..

Good questions futurersxswap. Other questions though, how much for you guys to install? I'm looking at getting your SF kit in spring or summer and for a good price I might just take a long road trip. Any cheaper price on install for someone coming from outta town?

The install is $300 now. Our testing consists of checking for leaks, listening for detonation, and setting the boost level. Then it is just putting miles on the car for testing.

will getting jet chip or hondadata anything to increase rpms or performance internals etc. help upgrade the whp on the car? Like dramitically? can you use vafc 2? if it works? I see robbusaf using safc I think.
Mike, exactly what method do you use to check for vacuum leaks...boost guage was reading about 4-5 psi with turboxs boost controller ...i thought without boost controller, kit should run around 6 psi and i turned controller to what i thought would have been 8...anything in particular i should check or look for...course i'm waiting for my turbo to get back from you guys...should arrive today hopefully
I have to admit... the kits looks good. I can see the evolution of the kit. I like the red piping and the connection to the throttle body looks alot better than before. If I were going with the SF kit, that what mine would look like.

. Looks good dude have fun with it!
