I have been researching more and more about nitrous kits, and i have a couple of questions for the experts.
1) I printed out the catalogue from NOSnitrous.com and on one page it gives the recommended ignition retarded(in degrees)of some of their kits. I know a few people on mazdamp3.com that are running the J&S safegaurd, which can retard timing in forced induction applications (ie:1 degree of retard per 1 pound of boost). My question is, will the J&S work with an n20 setup or is it just turbo/supercharger friendly, and will it work with a 2k1 civic?
2) If the J&S does not work, is there anything else i can use to retard timing, other then a full standalone?
3) If anyone has the Venom 2000, how much do u love it!

With a 50 shot you can get by without retarding your ignition timing by simple running 1 range colder plugs and premium gas.
Get a wet kit, they'll make more power on your car since your injector limited with the venom.

thank you for the post, and that dodge is SICK! The only reason i wanted the info on the J&S is because this is my only car and i dont want anything to go wrong, this will be my first try with nitrous, so i'm going to keep the shot small and try to not to use it to much, btw how hard was it to purge to the atmosphere like the pic in your sig?
rule of thumb is don't use the nitrous longer than about 15 seconds.
Make sure when you hook the kit up that everything works before you try it out for the first time.
DO NOT bounce off the rev limiter.
The purge was simple Add the extra solenoid, wire it up and run the line to where ever you'd like to see the cloud
