Has anyone noticed that factory turboed cars have insaine boost levels, but produce horrible 1/4 times for the amount of boost they are pushing. If we were boosting 15lbs on our Civics we wouldnt be running 14.4 in the 1/4 like the SRT-4s. Are Neons just poorly engineered?

Its the way the engine is built. Honda take quality and produces a engine. If they cant make it better, they stay with the same engine for generations. Like a the civics, except si, have d series engines. Aftermarket just helps boost our poor performance, economical cars better.

wrx's run 14s with 13.5 psi. i've heard of them run 13s with a simple boost controller and running 16 psi.
