they minuse well just release the damn kit they have.. so wut if tis not street legal, just sell it with the "for show use only" label. and fuel problem? common now, like 3 other smaller companies have turbo kits with fuel issue solved. im sure HKS could find an equal or even better fuel solution.

its not worth their time nor money, not like they are going to lose any money by not making our civics a kit. they only made the manifold for people who like to build their own turbo setup piece by piece

Actually, the maxrev manifold LOOKS better than the HKS one when its polished (stainless steel). Its not a bad manifold, neither is HKS. Of course, nothing has anything over SFPowers 4-into-1 equal length manifold. Wonder why HKS did a log manifold - I thought the plan was 4-in-1......hmmm....oh well, at least its cheap....

For a cast ductile iron manifold, it looks pretty good to me.
Alot of people will never reach the point where they will need a equal length tubular manifold, unless you just want one because it looks cool then its all good.

I'm with you on that. The manifold looks decent to me.... I'd buy it. Also, the equal length manifold is nice, it looks pretty, but after talking to numerous manifold fabricators lately they seem pretty consistent in saying that the "log" style has a longer life than the pretty equal length tubular design in a daily driven setup. For most of us, we drive our cars everyday, and the heat combined with the toils of daily driving, i.e. potholes, stop and go, etc., will cause the manifold to lose its shape and crack over time.

i have teh equall length on the way.. you just gotta have faith in the manufacturer... and i want performance,,, the most out of my turbo possible... and some of us WILL reach the point that it is needed,,, i know im shooting for 12's by next spring when i totally rebuild my engine (i hope, gotta start saving!).. but when i redo the bottom end and port the top end etc.... i hope to push 15psi when i go to track, and im looking for mid 12's if not a tiny bit lower when i hook up finally...

It really doesn't look like much thought went into the design - it looks like just a freakin' turd with flanges, heheh.....

why would you want somethin polished, because it turns nasty colors like in that pic. same thing happens to the DC Sports polished header.

If i was gonna go custom id probably start with this:

HKS manifold
DSM T25
SF Power Fuel Management or add return line etc...
Used Intercooler
Synapse Missing Link - ML004
Custom piping from machine shop

Looks like a decent list to me.

Your list is almost identical to the mods I want to do to my car. lol. I'm sure the hks manifold will perform well, especially after you get it ported. Speaking of DSM turbos you can probably bolt on a 16g. I wonder how long that will take to spool.
