max rev kit question

max rev kit question

i got my kit but i was looking at the ks-motorsports site
where i got it and there is a picture of a pipe coming off
the wastegate i dont believe i got that pipe. correct me if
i'm wrong. thanks

the piping coming off of the wastegate should be a dumptube, i think you have to pay extra for that

yea its the dump tube.....u can vent it into the atmosphere or into the exhaust...venting to the exhaust is legal while the atsmosphere isnt

They don't include it in the kit. You will have ot find a flange specifically for the tial wastegate (about 30 bucks) and you need to have a dumptube made and welded to the flange (another 40-50 bucks.)

Talk to Zinkyroo, they are making some changes to the kit for him. I'm betting that they are changing things for everyone, including a free dumptube, redesigning the header so you don't have to relocate the slave cylinder, and other minor things....Call them and ask!

Hey, zinkyroo, didn't you tell me that you're spending over 500 bucks on additional parts/welds, etc just to install the kit?

Yes, but Mike is sending me a new manifold, downpipe, and I am sending back all of the old stuff to get the welds done by Max-Rev. At no charge.
