ok heres my time i ran at the track.first run is against a boosted lexus is300.
his on left mines on right
.856 reaction 1.086
2.247 60 ft. 2.678
13.767 1/4 et 15.349
107.68 1/4 mph 94.39
my first time in a long time so my reaction time wasnt to good.my launch wasnt to bad it kinda booged a little before it started boosting.damn when he crossed the finish line i was like about four car lenths behind.i thought i was running somewhere in the 16's by the gap we had.LOST
next one is against a 94 sedan gsr turbo
1.243 reaction .752
2.481 60 ft. 2.487
14.920 1/4 et 15.023
95.38 1/4 mph 94.71
i won this one he was right behind me.i cant seem to figure this out cause he has a faster et and has a higher mph than me.just his reaction was sucky.WIN
last one is an eclipse gs-t
.739 reaction .636
2.563 60 ft. 2.454
14.921 1/4 et 14.789
94.91 1/4 mph 96.30
this was close but i was still ahead.WIN
well this was a good night for me except for my busted cv joint.

no internals.looks like i cant do better next time.i ran with my spare tire, speaker box and 18'' rims on.i was rushing right after work to get there so i didnt have time to remove them.lol...just race in style.
Yeah, you can definitely shave some time if you get rid of the stuff in the trunk and even more if you swap to your stock steelies.I'm still waiting on my SF kit to get here, but my last run at the track produced a 15.9, w/ nothing in the trunk and 17" wheels..really only have I/H/E...so I'm hoping to shave at least a second and a half off that time...hope that's not too unreasonable

eh you lost that race against the gsr turbo just to let you know. yes his ET was faster than yours doesn't matter what his reaction time was or who finished first. When racing for ET's it just matters who was faster. I could let you take off first and just sit there waiting 10 seconds then launch and still run a faster ET so yea you did lose its not a win but a lost just to let you know.

it is a win in the end, because at the track, the winner is who passes through the traps first. I learned the hard way when i had a 2 sec rxn time and lost to a 16.5 sec nissan

what..... how do you win when you run a slower ET. When racing for ET it doesn't matter who finishes first. I've finished first in ET race before and still had a Lost on my slip due to the fact we were racing for ET's. Makes no sense how he finishes first and wins when he ran a slower ET. When racing for ET it doesnt matter. Its ET vs ET.

Look different tracks go through different guidlines. You could be bracket racing, sometimes just going for ETs. Either way both are right. Different places/events do different things.

Don't feel bad Catalyst my first time down the track was a joke. Great reaction time shifted in 2nd at 6500 then I forgot I was racing and coasted thru second gear. After about 3 seconds I was like WTF but it was too late. I posted a 18.5

O well, i learned my lesson. I like my .502 and .540 rnx times im getting now (.500 light)
