ok....
One of my friends was wondering about the extra injectors as well. Can someone explain why we don't need extra injectors?
I have traction through all gears, but I have an auto. SO I got the lag off the line.
No tranny cooler yet, I have one, just not in yet. GOnna put it in when I get the shift kit done.
I am getting an S-AFC b4 I dyno it. Should be here this week.

With the SF fuel kit, you dont need extra injectors because it adds more fuel by increasing the fuel pressure. As the pressure rises, the injectors deliver more fuel with the stock pulse width.
If you add bigger injectors with the SF kit, you will need to use an SAFC or something to tune it, because it is made for the stock injectors. but as long as you can use something to tune the pulsewidths, the kit will work awesome with extra injectors.

Ok - I think I know how the fuel system works now. This WAS the missing piece of the puzzle, but by looking at the setup, it can be seen.
There are 2 senarios here, my guess is #2:
1. Essentially SF has just installed an inline fuel "pump" if you will - something to boost system pressure. The output pressure of the pump is determined by how much voltage is fed to the pump - by the "reference diaphram." The "reference diaphram" monitors boost pressure on the manifold (maybe via the MAP sensor?), and adjusts the output voltage to the new fuel pump accordingly.....
2. Either that - or from what I see on the photo, the fuel essentially bypasses the pump at low boost due to the "reference diaphram," and starts to route through the pump as the boost pressure on the manifold increases. This design would have the pump run at the constant 12V DC, simplier than the previous design.
Essentially they are correct when they say that this kit comes "pretuned," however since this kit was tuned on Catalysts car, I can only imagine that minor tweaking to the fuel device can only help things since every engine that comes off of the line has its own characteristics.
Pretty cool, but I'd still like to see the design of the reference diaphram (I know, snowball's chance in hell, but I can still wish).

if you upgrade injectors, you HAVE TO HAVE an SAFC or something of the sort.
Opto, you are an intelligent person. It is not number 1, and number 2 is somewhat close. Keep thinking, and i bet you may get it.

Thanks Cat....Heh, not that I am going to even try and make this device, since I'll leave that to someone with prior experience (unless I had an old junker I could play around with, and didn't have anything to worry about)....Just like to tinker, guess its the engineer in me!
