got my car dynoed today with sf turbo kit.he only could get the hp for me and not the tq cause his machine wouldnt pick up the signal from the ignition coil. he told me to come back next week to do it again for the tq output.anyway he did three runs @ 7.5 psi.
first one was 175.9 hp @80 mph
second one 174.6 hp @80 mph
third 172.7 hp @80 mph
i have no idea why the hp was going lower, might be cause it was getting hotter.
mods i have is aem underdrive pulley, hp race cat, stock mid pipe, aerospeed axle back.and this was taken with the stock clutch.i will take it to the tracks this friday and see what it'll run, hopefully in the 14's.well time for
.by the way people that dynoed how much are you guys paying?i just wasted $62 for this but i got no other choice cause this is the only place to dyno on this island.

yeah, and i believe we get between 110-114 at the wheels stock (5 speed EX). That's some decent wheel horse there, should be more than enough for 14 second runs.
EDIT - I stand corrected. Thanks SF. That's a huge jump then, 75whp constant. More than any safe nitrous setup and it's much more safe. God I can't wait...

Stock- they only put a 101 to the ground.
Did they have a large fan blowing on the intercooler?
Did they give you air/fuel numbers?
Did you change plugs (IK20 densos)?
I believe it runs a little rich on the EX due to the V-tec injector pulse width programming. Iam working on a tunning item as we speak it will go out in the next kit.
$62 is a good deal. We've paid $100 for 2 pulls and we don't live on a island.

It's a D17(1668cc) made to look like 1.6 on paper.
I'm still thinking if I get a turbo or just work on the engine and do all motor..
but with the figures you showed, I just might consider getting a turbo..

open that up a lil more and i gaurantee you'll make more power... Dyno's actually measure torque then convert it to hp with HP = torque * rpm / 5252 which would make torque = HP * 5252 / RPM. You don't have to go make another run. Just plug in numbers.
what kind of dyno were you using?

i dont know it was at a shop... you know like the ones with large rollers in the ground.

Wow I wasn't expecting that many horses. Think if you upgraded internals added like a 50 shot of NX, upped the boost to like 9 or 10 psi and got a new midpipe I bet it would easily make 250 hp. I think we got the best SOHC Honda's ever made.
