chicago monsoon!
... wow, anyone drive through this last night?? it wasn't fun let me tell you. golf rd was flooded like crazy, going westbound there was a couple of guys pushing theyre gti throught the flood
... luckily for me.. alot of the eastbound lanes were not as flooded.
well anyways.. my dad wakes me up this morning and apparently my cooling fan was on. i go outside and try to figure out why it was. im not sure yet, but i think it might be a leak in the cooling system
my coolant was low and i filled it... 15 mins later, the coolant was low.
crack in the coolant tank? leaking hose(s)? leaky/faulty radiator? i dont know!!!! im ditching classes later to take it to the dealer, im still under warrenty.
funny thng is that the fan only comes on when the car is off or when the car is running... not in the middle (when car is off, but auxilary on)
HELP ME!!!!

It rained like crazy in lagrange last night too. All the streets heading out to 31st were flooded all the way across (4 different routes all flooded). Lagrange road was flooded bad just south of the downtown area in the residential zone.
On the bright side, while watching the storm I got to see three strikes of lightning that made an enormous green flash. I thought the lightning itself was green, but I am not certain. I can only assume that lightning hit coils or somthing made of copper, and the copper being evaporated let off the solid green light. Two separate hits to the north about a minute apart, and a third green hit to the south about 45 minutes later. Apparently, I am the first to see a green lightning strike. I asked my co-workers today, and they seemed to think I was nuts or joking.

Im a little north from you, but i live out in the sticks where there is no shelter. I had to pull over to the side of the road because i thought the quarter size hail was gonna break though my windshield. Woke up this morning to see some nice damage on the roof of the car.
Carbon fiber hood held up fine though
