anyone around here even put a set of tein basics into their car?...just looking for some help on mine, i mentioned this in another thread...if not ill take it to a shop in the spring

do you actually mean just putting them on the car itself? not involving assembling the shock/strut body? its not that hard really, theres a DIY on this site for it. its more time consuming than anything...

well the basics dont come w/ upper mounts so you have to use the stock ones...

make sure you get some '01 top mounts because it'll start making loud creaking noises everytime you turn the steering wheel at a stop. it gets really annoying. i have this problem on my B&Gs.

i'm just saying that i would rather get the right parts the first time around and do it right to avoid any problems. in my current situation, i installed my B&Gs with the wrong top mounts and got an alignment and all that stuff. now the car is making creaking noises and its driving me nuts. so, if i wanted to correct this problem, i'll have to take out my coilovers again and pay for another alignment.

there is a possibility you will get those creaking noises if you dont use those mounts. i have that problem on my gc's.

im going to suja1 motoring for teh install...
