Good Tint Places in the burbs*updated pics*
The only one I have experience with is on Southwest hwy in Chicago Ridge. It's not very close to you, but not super far either. They did my car on a Saturday in a few hours and it came out pretty nice. It was a little expensive, but they did a good job... better than most I've seen anyway. I think it was around 220-230 and is supposed to be guaranteed for as long as you own the car. I've had it for maybe 1.5 years now without a problem.
I'm pretty sure it was called Midwest tint? It's on Southwest highway a little bit NE of the Chicago Ridge mall.

If u know ne one in DP that is lookin for stripes let me know..
I have another set like on my last ride in the pic above.
the set i have sittin here are longer and go to the headlight area...
Did that bar thing in the center of your door come on the car? It looks like a ding protector or somthing. Mine is smooth across the whole way.
Did you get my message with a link to the tinted windows pictures? The lines that they cut are nice and sharp on the door windows, it looks like it could have even been factory.. evenly spaced gap of non-tinted glass that goes into the weather strip seal. The only place that isn't perfect is the little area that goes around the center tail light thing.. one side is cut a little bit different that the other. It's not perfect, but not bad enough to make me complain about it. I should have taken a picture of it.
I've seen some cheaper tint jobs and they aren't always as nice. One guy I work with had his 4 door camry done, and the lines where they cut it to trace the shape of the windows were shitty. When the windows were rolled down part way, you could see how the spacing between the tint and the end of the glass (in that small un-tinted area) was not even, and looked crappy. He got a bargain price, somthing like 130 bux, but it's simply not as good of a job. The quality of the install is where most of the cost comes from IMO. They also put a small sticker on his window advertising the shop name that did the tint job. I don't like that, and I wouldn't allow it unless I was getting the tints for free. Word of mouth is one thing, but adding stickers or advertisments to my car?? It's not a rolling billboard. hehe

^^^yes INTOgraphics works directly with TintFX. They are in the same shop. They hook me up as well... I got mine (20% pass. and driver, 5% rears) for 160. they use solarguard.
I never did get a PM from you that you mentioned. I suppose somthing may be wrong with PMs in the server software.
I'm glad you got to see them, and glad you found a shop where you've seen cars they've done and they look great.
vtecinEX7 how long have you been tinted that dark, and have you gotten into any trouble with the police over it? That was my main concern before getting tint.. worrying that the police might target my car over others, and use the tint as a reason (breaking the stupid tint law) to pull me over and hassle me. Thankfully, thus far I've never been troubled by it, mine are quite a bit lighter than yours though. I got medium gray all the way around, which I am guessing is like inbetween 35 and 40 percent. On sunny days you can see right in, but on overcast days it looks black like a much darker tint.

i have no problem with cops around here. i drive past them everyday... even right next to them and they dont care. but maybe thats because they recognize my car and i dont look like a 16 yr old gangsta. could be anything. i had these on for almost a year i think.
i did get pulled over once when i had my tints but only because i was a dumbass and forgot to change my plate sticker. he gave me a $20 ticket for the tints. dont let the cops prevent you for doing it. just dont be stupid or look suspicious. cops around here could give a rats *** if you were speeding 15 mph over.

Cops there are sneaky... nothing lit up in a pitch black area with lots of hiding... but not for me
then you cell back to your friends and let them know...

the cut line at the top of the glass are way uneven, there is a crinkle in the corner... sooo i am going to ask my boy who got me the hook up to see what he thinks, i dont want to start anything between them.. personaly i think the guy rushed it at the end... they close at 7, they took my car at 330 and i picked it up at 630... soo i dont know...some air bubbles... but expected... they use sungard midnightdye film.. but its back for life by them... soo if anything happends not related to me fking it up then they will fix
