Im pretty new here but I found a great mechanic in the chicago area. His name is mike and he works out of his garage. He is ASA certified and he charges pretty low for all kinds of stuff.

He just charged me $60 for the labor on a new starter.

thats kind of alot me and my brother work out of our garage doing custom paint and engine work and we charge only 40 for labor on mechanical and 55 on paint and body and were both ppg certified
