**** THIS CRAP MAN.... not in my town... i will find it bro... but i would bet my bottom dollar the kit, rims, etc.... are out of town by now... when my 5thgen got stolen the cops found a shell too, but i found my motor in a car in a show in cincinnati!!!!! f*ckin out of town car thieves.... this is why i only drive my car when im not going to leave it anywhere, and why i park it in a different garage almost every time i move it... damn bro, HELLLLLA sorry to hear about this.... i was supposed to work on this car too... sh*t sucks.... hope your insurance helps you out///

Rep Power: 0 did you guys seethe ******* on ebay selling a manifold that looks JUST like yours bro??? hes somewhat local too, cant remember the town.... black SF turbo manifold, on ebay right now! listed on the 20th.... this is crap.... i bet its your manifold man, investigate this!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 Thanks to everyone for looking out and for your condolences. I too will be looking long and hard for these parts, but like Todd said, I'm sure they are out of town by now. However that won't stop me from going to every tuning shop and swap meet even remotely local to here.
I haven't heard from the insurance company yet but they said they would call by tomarrow and let me know whether they are going to fix it (yeah right
) or if they are just going to cut me a check. If it is determined that it's totaled they will give me the value of the car as if it sold on a dealer lot. So I won't get dollar for dollar what I paid for my mods but I'll get some of it back.

Rep Power: 306 From what it looks like, they are putting another car back together. Some of the parts stolen are not worth anything except to another 7th gen. Ebay would be too hard, they are using the parts to fix up thier own car.
Why else take the seats? Those are worthless. Engine, same thing. Too hard to sell an engine with a serial number on it.

I called a few shops around here and let the people know, I told friends at garage kawi and evo in arlington heights. I'll tell other people to. Theres a show and swap meet this weekend I'll be at.

Insurance company has officially totalled the car and will give me what it's worth (with all of the mods) as if it sold on a dealer lot. Stock car is worth about $12,000 with the mileage it had plus another $6000-7000 worth of mods. I still owe AHFC about $2200 so I'm guessing I'll get around $13,000-$14,000.
Suggestions on what to get next?

Probably gonna get another civic but not a 7thgen. I can't even look at one on the street without thinking about my old ride. Looking at a 99 Si but I am keeping my loptions open until I see how much insurance is giving. RSX is very tempting, gonna have to think about that one. Insurance would probably kill me though. We'll see.

Rep Power: 511 both do. i like the vortech one. i love how the blue si looks with some nice black/polished lip rims, a nice drop, and a CF hood. you dont put a body kit or anything crazy on a car like that. shaved inner tails look hot too.
