chicago civic club???

Maybe we can start by setting up ameet in the near future in a place that everyone can find without a prob. Maybe for lunch or something and get a real club rolling.
I mentioned a civic club to a friend at a Honda Dealership I do some work for. He said if we considered using the dealership name, maybe I could talk the owner into doing some kind of sponsership

Some bad news, kinda. As for now sponsorship is out of the question, the owner has been screwed with to many times. But maybe after we get something established and going it is possible.

HEy like mak says, Y DON"T we all have a meet... on labor day??? DATz a good idea man... I want to make sure that everybody will come this time, MANNN da meet before autofest was horrible... I came there an drove around lookin for people for an hour an a half... I NEED TO KNO IF THIS MEET WILL REALLY HAPPEN..lol.. So wat does eveybody think bout LABOR DAY?
any one here planning on buying turbo?? maybe we can get get a discount from SF if we all buy one??? as for the name Im for anything as long as everyone is in....we can start a club for next year since summer is already over...

Rep Power: 0 yea, a club wouldn't be such a bad idea. i really want to see everyone's car. i didn't go to the meet, but i was looking for you guys in the parking lot of the autofest but i didn't see anyone. anyway, lmk about labor day. i'm not sure but i'm interested.

I really wanna start one with you guys, i think we have more than enough people in the chicago area... It would be great if we all are as a team an went to the shows, we can all show there... LMK!!! Wheres Dragonfly? Hooters in Woodfield is OK, but I would prefer something a bit closer to the southside. The last meet in Chinatown took me and hour and a half to get to. What about hooters of Orland Park, that would only be like 45min to an hour for me to get to and I know you guys in like the Woodfield area could get there in about the same amount of time. Does it have to be hooters? There are also some good places to eat in Downers Grove plus a hooters there if you guys are set on it
