Well i juss got done painting a set of rims for my friend... This was my first time painting a set of rims so let me know what yall thinks.. I will post more pics after they dry and without the tape

damn it looks very good, I want to paint mines also black but I'm afraid I might mess them up.... Can you tell what paint you use? and give me more info on how you did them? Basically like a diy lol. If I dont do it myself I gotta pay $400 at my local shop ot get them painted.

its really not hard at all... All i used was 400 grit sandpaper sanded them down real good taped up the lip... Make sure u clean the rims real good to get the grease and dirt off... If you dont clean the rims good the paint will not stick good enough. The Kind of paint i used is Dupont Automotive paint and to get the gloss look i used Dupont Clear. And i Used a gravity spray gun.

Can run run from 89 to 250 i think dependin on brand and where you buy it from... And no i used automotive paint and the gun is an air gun so u would need a air compressor

how much is an air compressor? Sorry for all the questions... I was trying to paint my lip kit but it'd probably take a lot more than just paint... aka primer/flex paint + clear coat.
