either way, a state wide meet will never work. Too many people have various work schedules, and deciding where to have a meet would be hell cause either way some people would have to drive far distances. And besides, I highly doubt may people would show up. Its hard enough getting a city meet together. Those usually only produce around 6-10 people at the most.

I honestly think we should do it in austin due to the fact its smack dab in the middle. Although those in dallas and houston will say no because the way i see it they dont wanna drive that far out, or there is nothing to do in austin.

Uhh Streetglower your are miss informed.... We've had a couple of meets in H-town and invited all of texas and gotten quite a few peeps from San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, South Texas and such to go.. All thats needed is to set it up a couple of months ahead of time so that way peeps have a chance to get the time off and set up renting hotels and such... The H-town meets we've had in the past never numbered less than like 15 and as many as 35 7thgens not includeing other various rides that showed up... Just requires planning and organization....

Okay everyone... I would like to see a state wide meet happen next year. I have been on this website for awhile now and never been to one because of college. Now I am out and really want to go to one. I live in the "D-F-DUB" and we just had a meet and a damn good one too. And we are planning a new one already and it sound bigger than the last one we just had already.
Now I am hopping we together can get a date going so we can plan in advanced (save money, take off of work). Austin sound great because it is in between DFW, San Antonio, and Houston. Now we need the Austin peoples help to find a place, please. Maybe on the outskirts? A nice park to BBQ?
Now a date would be nice to, 2006 of course. July? August?
Need help here, please. I know the date sounds far away but it might be what we need?
We need a meet to show evey other state that we are better. And this is how Texas rolls.
I have heard that we have has some great meets before so lets do it again.
I know I might have talk to much but just trying to help ya'll.

All cars
I think I was talking to Day_Tripper about this last week in some other tread. She ask if she could bring other cars that are not 7th Gen cars? I am not running the show at all, I just want it to happen and people have a good time. In my opinion I would like to see a good turn out happen and do encourage that even if you don’t have a 7th Gen Civic to come. I see these meets to be a car enthusiast gathering. So if you know any other web-sites that maybe interested to make this thing better turn out please do. The only thing I don't want to see happening is this getting out of hand.... I like the rules that this guy has in Houston....http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=232407
Still need help from Austin people on a good place to meet please.

if it's in the San Antonio/Austin area, count me in for sure... i don't think i wanna push my luck with the DFW or H-Town police though, so i'd have to pass if it comes to that...
