damn if anyone lives in calhoun county, they are fuked if they stay. they say any 911 calls in that county will be forwarded to victoria county cause all the EMS, sherrifs dept. and police will be out of the city untill after the storm.

wow 8 hour drive from port arthur to here "austin", man im so freakin glad to be done drivin just wish i drove my car, everyone pray for the little black vic left at home in the cold " hot" whatever the weather, cause its only covered by a carport under a monsterazz tree cause the garage was full. Also we finally bought a cabin on crystal beach this yeah so we can kiss that good bye just my luck lol, anyways hope everyone else made it out of there ok still waitin to here from my dad and other family but the tele's np bueno

Rep Power: 452 well this storm looks like it wont even hammer us that hard. it is slowly shifting to the northeast and looks like it may slam into louisana. But who knows.

best of luck to you guys, its suppose to hit oklahoma as a cat 1 WTF, if it happens to hit okc it will be the first, a hurricane has never hit okc, never the less it wont be as bad as it hitting houston, my mom and dad stay in houston, i hope everything is ok. . .
yeah i live in groves and my friends in port arthur cant leave because of traffic is so bad, it took one of them over 2 hrs to go 10 miles. luckily i left yesterday because my mom made me drive her which im glad cause i wanted to leave today

Rep Power: 452 well it looks as if the hurricane again turned west. Our weather guy has been talking all day about how it has been slowly moving east closer to louisana but now has shifted again west and may still possibly slam into galveston and houston. But I am ready for it, I put my car in a storage facility close to my house so hopefully it will be protected. As of now, we are just waiting for it to come. Assuming the power will go out sometime tomorrow evening early saturday morning is going to suck.

Oh BTW, they have boies, the things that float around in the ocean to tell you not to past this point, and anyway they calculate what is going on with the storm and they have been relaying info back to the national hurricane center and reported over 35 ft. waves. And is supposed to increase as it gets closer to shore.
