Ok well Clint and I were talking just a little bit ago and we need to get an idea of when and where we want to meet and leave from in the morning. Also we need to know who all is going. I was thinking we could meet at like Burger King in Terrell, because any further north from that, then I am going out of the way. Directons to Burger King in Terrell I was hoping we could meet that morning of the 1st like at roughly 7:30 or 8:00 am so we can eat and be on the road around 10:00 or 11:00 am. These are just rough estimates. Nothing is set in stone, we are just trying to get everything figured out so we know what to expect. I have room in my car is anyone has three or more in their car. I will be the only one in my car. If y'all decide to meet somewhere else, y'all can meet me at the address I gave y'all because that is already 45 minutes from me and I don't want to drive into Dallas if I don't have too. Also does anyone know the exact directions to where we are going. My dad said we can take I20 to I45 South and that will take us into Houston. If anyone knows a better way, then don't hesitate to speak up. Also we need to decide if we are getting a hotel or what. Remember, these times and locations are not set in stone, but just said to get an idea. I might try and stay with Dave if he has room. I am willing to get a hotel room with like 3 more people and split the bill if some people are willing to do that. Also I would like to know when everyone is planning on leaving or if anyone needs to be back early for anything? I can pretty much leave whenever. I don't have a job except for working for my dad and I can just let him know when I want to work. If there is anything I missed Clint let me know. We need to set some times and location in stone so there is not confusion.

That covers it man. And for the people that don't like to get up early, too bad. If you want to go later then you are gona be leaving by yourself. The reason for early leaving is to leave after the dallas traffic dies down and to be in houston before traffic begins. If any one has been into htown during traffic you know it isn't fun. Also i don't know the current rates right now, but im sure some one from htown will tell us, but there are toll ways and i believe we will go through at least one.
aight fellas, to answer 2 questions here, 45 south is going to be the ONLY way you guys should come down, bc the area where I think ya'll are stayin(if its where we talked about earlier in that 42 page fiasco we call a "houston meet thread" then it is right off of 45 on the north side of houston....
2nd, there are no tolls on 45, there are tolls on the beltway, but not going the direction we will be on the beltway....
i would have to agree with the fellas above to get here before the traffic, however the only place you will really hit any would be conroe, like I said you guys are comming to the far northside of houston....
if any of yall have any direct questions for me personally, please feel free to call me on my cell, 832-257-6288
Thanks guys and this is going to be one hell of a big meet!

Alright guyz I'm putting on my flame retardand suit cuz I know I'm gonna get **** for buying this car! Ohh well here it goes: i got a Volvo S60 T5! But wait a minute... can you guess what the "T" stands for? That's right beeotches i got snail power baby! And guess what the 5 stands for? That's right 5 cyllinders! Hey i think 243 HP and 243 ft-lbs. of torque isn't bad for a 2.3 liter engine! Hey dont get me wrong, Hondas are outstanding cars but i think Volvo is just a little bit better overall and for the price I paid for it, there was really no question about it! Anyways I'm happy with it! Sure i'm gonna miss the days of the lowered Civic with the exhaust and all the works but hey life must go on right?

c'mon DF Dub! I know we are deeper than this! This is pathetic! if you guyz need rides don't be afraid to ask! I got plenty of room in my car and I believe Joel or Clint said their car(s) may have some room for extra passengers too! Of course it would be better if you drove your own civic down but hey at least come down and see the rest of them!

I am probably not gonig to get a hotel room only because I have to leave the night of the 2nd because I start my job on the 3rd. In 20 days I will make $7,500. After I get that money, I will have something turboed.

I will be working for ESPN and yes it is legal. I start on the 3rd. I drive to Houston in a van with tv equipment, I am there 10 days, then I head to Springfield, Missiouri. I am there for a few days, then I drive to Kansas City, Kansas after I am there for a few days I head back to Dallas. I will be making $275 a day plus $1,000 to eat on for the 20 days, but I plan on eating cheap and only spending the minimal amount so I have more money for my turbo b series del Sol.
As you have noticed I am new, but guess what? I still drive a civic and was in Houston this last weekend. Few things though, #1 they are still doing construction on the roads down to Houston. Right before Palestine, they got it down to one lane so be sure not to be in that area around 3 or 4 o'clock. If you are going to be in Houston, find a place in Spring, it'll be cheaper and a bit more of a better surroundings (no graffiti and less likely to wake up with your car missing). Spring is along the way to Houston. It is the last suburb before Houston. Don't mind me asking but what meet is in Houston? Is it going to be a Civic only car meet? Or just a car show?
