Dallas and Fort Worth have lots of museums.
Dallas and Fort Worth both have zoos, thought I think Fort Worth's is better.
Dallas has Elm Street if you like music and clubs.
Fort Worth has Sundance Square (clubs, coffee shops, stores, museums, restaraunts, movie theaters, comedy clubs, bars, bookstores, etc.)
Dallas has West End.
Fort Worth has a Japanese Garden in its botanical gardens.
Grapevine has the gigantic Grapevine Mills mall and 30-screen movie theater.
Dallas has the Galleria and the IMAX right across the highway.
Arlington has Ripley's Believe It or Not, Six Flags, and a water park.
Dallas has the Mavericks, the Cowboys, the Rangers, and the Stars if you like sports.
If you like dancing to music by Madonna and Cher, you could always go dancing at the Village Station in Dallas.
http://ftworthmusic.com/venues-dance.html has a list of dance clubs in DFW.
There are water gardens in downtown Fort Worth and Dallas.
In downtown Dallas there is the JFK museum and monument.
Las Colinas has some cool waterfalls and ststues of horses. And it has a movie studio you can take a tour of.
There are outlet centers in Hillsboro (south on I-35 for 40min).

And there's lots more things to do, but I can't remember them right off the top of my head. You can do what I always like to do--wait until midnight then just drive around. Who knows? You might run into some illegal street races...
