I've just installed my new hp header w/ high flow cat..I was wondering if it still suppose to make that exhaust leak sound..Cause like when I take off in first gear it makes that sound and I'm tired of it!!..lol

I used the stock gasket but I shouldn't see why it would leak from using a stock gasket.

you need a new gasket and your problem should be solved...its always a good idea to use a new gasket anytime you do something like that

yea, i used my stock gasket as well, but i got lucky. when you dont get a new gasket you basically have a 50-50 chance of it leaking.

A few people including myself have had the HP long tube header and cat leak horrendously even with new gaskets. My solution was just to cut the doughnut flange out and weld in a section of straight pipe, although flex pipe would be better.
