Hey wasup.....I used to have an '03 EX but since I got rid of it and picked up the '98 I havent been here in a loooong time.

Now I got a Camaro and was wondering if anyone in the westside/Westheimer area wants to let me check out their ride.

I am pondering doing a little swap & turbo setup on the Civic but I know its a lot of work & $$ for what you get but worth it (the look on someones face when a civic beats you is priceless)

I was thinking if someone around here with a fast civic could take me for a spin and show me what it feels/sounds like to ride in a civic thats turbo'd

Maybe I can take you for a ride in my Z28 (its got some mods) if you want.

Or we can race, too.

I just want to check it out, ya know?

I mean if someone wants to meet up even today thats cool...even better....I dont have **** to do and I didnt get to go out and play yesterday because of the rain.

I am pretty sure no one on here even has a turboed ride in houston. Check on www.houston-imports.com though, there are plenty of them on there.

Well I'll check it out there.....I already tried hunting down a turbo RSX-S that I was supposed to race on that board but the guy is avoiding me I thought I was being friendly but hes just ignoring my posts and PMs.

I saw him cruising Westheimer and we agreed to meet at "The blinking yellow light" but we got seperated and I saw him later that night and right away I saw an SRT4 and pointed it out to him and he went off chasing that SRT so I didnt get a chance t run'em

Hope I can find at least a turbo civic over there.

DAMNIT I wanna ride in a turbo Honda/Acura! Pretty please!!!!

Well what I meant was most people that post on this board from houston have a 7thgen that isnt turboed. There is a member who posts that is in stage 7 who has a turbocharged 7thgen, maybe talk to him, he works at speed fetish in Spring, TX. but other then that, you will have to find someone with another yr. car.

well at this point anything turbo'd would be cool

I have never been in a turbo car before except I drove a 600rwhp supra but that dont count because its too fast to compare what I wanna build.

What I mean is...I'd like to ride in a turbo car thats at least comparable to a turbo'd civic. Nothing crazy, just something so I can get an idea what a 200-300 hp turbo civic feels like when singing its song.

"guns", "HTOWNBOY" and myself are all boosted. there is also at least one other car that has a custom turbo on it (a white 01 EX with the OEM lip kit and spoon stickers). if i wasn't so busy, i'd offer to take you for a spin, ask one of the other guys, or maybe drop by speed fetish

Like I told him, I said there were members of stage 7 who are turboed. And I said one works at speed fetish. And if you read what I posted before, not many people from houston are boosted who have 7thgens. Not many people that post do. You said 4 thats not many. I think he would have a better shot if he asked on HI because there are so many people on there who have boost. And he probably doesnt want to drive all the way to spring.

There is also another member with a Red EX coupe that has a turbo just not instaled yet. If you consider the members from Houston that post on 7thgen and lives in Houston that would make 5 out of what 20 who post. Thats about what 20%. I know off all the civics in Houston we are not alot. But for those who do post here we do represent our team Stage7Texas and try and help out others when time allows.

I will be at Speed Fetish doing some work if anybody wants to stop by Monday.

My car can take a mustang gt. I dont think it would pull on your Z28 anyways. SpeedFetish usually has a couple of fast cars around. Maybe you can come out for a fun run one day and see how your car holds up against a 4 banger running on a hairdryer.

Maybe once I am built with all my bolt ons I might give you a run. That is if my tranny, axels and differential hold up to 300whp..

We will see. For now the fastest 7thgen in H-town. Who needs a K20 when you got a sleeper D17.

Yeah I know its always funny when you hear white people asking where the bathroom is in spanish...the spanish classes even teach them to say "Donde esta el bano". I had a spanish teacher who was white and she had a horrible accent when speaking in spanish....was funny as hell listening to her teaching these people...they all ended up with the same F'd up accent.. Sounded like a redneck from Arkansas trying to speak spanish. Especially with the r's and rr's. Some people just cant roll their tongue.
