My current Mobile Phone contract will expire soon...and I was wondering what you guys had, as far as Mobile Phone service. So, please vote truthfully and add any comments you feel necessary as far as reception and customer service so that it may help me aid in my decision.

well i have Sprint. There plans are top notch to me
but there coverage ****ing sucks!
plus if you wnat to get another phone you gotta pay full price or wait until like 75% of your plan is up like on a 1 or 2 year agreement.....i have had Cingular and they ****ing sucked all around. I don't have expeiernce with anyone else.

Their phones are the best though, I've had t-mobile b4 and their plans are cheap but you always end up losing calls because of the weak signal.

nextel, for life son.. best coverage, no roaming charges, no long distance, and the best part , walkie talkie!!! and i have never , ever gone over my plan.. ive had cingular, and at&t .. i hate them all .. i always go over minutes!!! nextel , all the way!
I think that T-moible is the best had them since before they were t-mobile (if thats even possible) I tried others and they suck! well Verizon wasnt that bad but I didnt want to change my #, I have heard people say good things about Sprint its just I talk a **** load during the day and 600 a month wont cut it. GOTTA LOVE THE 3000 whenever minutes!
T-Mobile!! Ive had at&t and there service ****ing blows.....sprint is bad ***, but IMO i hate there phones...they dont use SIM cards, so say you break you phone in some way your numbers are gone...no getting them back, but w/ T-mobile they use sim cards so just pop it out and put it in the new phone...this also works for if you bought a new phone...you dont have to go through your company to activate your phone...just put in ur card w/ your new phone and its activated, plus will already have all of your new numbers
ATT (GSM) - one of the worst services but improving. Merged w/ cingular and are suppose to have the largest number of customers.
Sprint (CDMA) - hate sprint w/ a passion but they have cool phones. They are very deceiving, they claim to have one of the best network but its outdated, cdma = poop. Number one dropped call company. Customer service sucks and they have alot of hidden fees.
Tmobile/cingular - they are very similar and share towers. certain areas tmobile w/ not work and cingular will, vise versa. GSM network is always a plus, if you have a tri-band phone, most likely you will beable to use it in europe and asia. Overall good company w/ good plans. SIM cards own. O ya, you can buy overseas phone that are not available in the US. Just make sure it works on 1900mhz network.
Verizon - an alright company, yes you do get signal alot where other carriers wont but calls arent as clear or you will have very low signal and the call will drop. They use alot of sprint towers. Plans are kinda pricey.
Nextel - if you are just looking for a reg phne w/ a cheap plan, nextel is not for you. Nextel OWNS all imo =P The original walkie talkie, extremely clear calls, 100% digital/private network, undestructable phnes. Only company that worked in NYC during 9-11. Downsides: expensive plans, large phnes (although improving w/ the new i830), once you outside of their network there is absolutely no signal
Ive had every company except Verizon and iam most pleased w/ my current nextel service.
