im writting a paper, and my professor asked me to include something about a county in Texas, where the local Law Enforcement agency would pay a Vigilante/Citizen up to $5,000 if they captured/caufght a burglar....

is this true???

does anyone know about this experiment???

Actually it is true, at least i heard it was true. Check in the police databases in the counties in the panhandle, that is where i heard it happen...
