Exclamation S7 OpenDiscussion

Ok peeps, me, Juan, and Zack talked last night, and we decided to make a thread for an important reason..."to see what's up w/all of you?" Meaning...what is everyone thinking about S7 right now. We need some feed back about the team from your point of view. This team would have never been ANYTHING if it wasn't for the three heads, and especially all of you!! So please let us know what's up.

After the Feb Meet...the team should be up and rollin pretty good. So what do you guys think? Should we have a Mandatory Monthly Meet? Or every two months? Like I said this thread is made so we can see what our members are wanting, expecting, etc. Everyone has questions, and/or concerns, so this is where we would like all of you to post them. Just last night, one of my lil bros told me something that I agree w/%100..."when you join a team/car club, they become like your second family" and that is true, and that's why me, Juan, and Zack are coming to ALL of you to have an "OPEN" discussion about our team.

We need to know if peeps out there are worried about the future of this team or what not. Things are slow right now, but it's only because we are awaiting for decals and our first meet. As a head, I do agree that we should have "MANDATORY" meets. (this does not go for our members that live far like Juan or anyone else that does not live in Houston and the near surrounding areas) I know I myself have my own personal issues that stop me from being out there w/all of you every Saturday, but I am trying to work that out. Please do understand, in which I'm pretty sure all of you do, that not only do we put work and time into this team, but we do have to do the same for our families, kids, and OUR personal issues. That's why "AGAIN" we need feedback to what is expected from this team.

So go ahead and post your comments, questions, etc. This is for "SERIOUS" questions and/or comments. All B.S. will be deleted...so all you lil Post ******...."Don't try it"

Regards,
"B", Juan, & Zack

**chimming in***

Well Stage 7 is coming along pretty well. I already placed the orders for the first set of decal. I'll probably be picking those up today and will get them sent out by the end of the week. Just like everything else it takes time to set things up and get things going but like Blue said this coming meet should get everything rolling. All we need now is to pretty much establish our team and then we can start setting up meets, tech days , cruises and such.. As for the mandatory meet I'd say once a month and I myself can more than likely make it every other month or so depending on availible funds..LOL... I think we have a good group of guys and I'd like to thank everyone for their patience, but dont worry Stage 7 will be in full affect soon...

Much thankz to all the members and my bros. that helped in getting Stage 7 off of the ground...(Blue and Zak)...

Yea Jess you have made yours clear and thats what we need. Input from our members. We are fairly new Team and I think we are off to a good start. It might seem slow to you guys but you dont know the ins and outs to the whole deal. There are things happening in the background you guys dont know about. Things for shirts, websites, shows, tech days etc. So i think with the group of peeps we have S7 is gonna go off really well.
As far as what the future of Stage7 is is up to you as memebrs and us as the heads. Some want to expand the generation of civics some want other type of cars to join but as of right now things are staying as is. Thats not to say there wont be any expansion in the future but this team was created for the sole purpose for the 7thgen.

Oh another thing...when we have a mandatory meet, we either choose a location that is like the center point for everyone, so that it is fair for everyone. OR...we can take turns...SouthSide then next meet, NorthSide you know. This is all for ideas for me, Juan, and Zack to work off of for us to better choose what will be the best thing and for the best interests of our team. Jessi and I had a really good talk last night, and we both understand both sides of concern on both of our halves. As always, and as I told Jessi last night, me, Juan and Zack are HERE...if ANY of you need to talk, about ANYTHING...hit us up. I'm always willing to help out my bros and babygirls. NOW, if I can't, don't hold that against me...I can't, nor can anyone else be available 24/7. But we as heads is trying, and will continue to try to do our best in making this team into what we all want it to be. I will say this much...me and my two bros (Juan and Zack) has put in to much work to get where we are at. We went through a lot of things before deciding to do this...we even tried to join a team ourselves....and now, AFTER all the hard work, we can proudly say that we started STAGE7 and that the group that has decided to follow us is one group that we can't complain. So after thinking of all the work me and my bros have put into this, I will NEVER let STAGE7 die out enough to be a "HAS BEEN" I'd ride solo LOL...but yeah...post your feelings, concerns, and questions bro."ONE" imp:

yea we were thinking if we planned monthly or every two month meets they would be in the same time and place. That way no one is scurrying around for addresses and maps etc.

Guys this thread is for you. To voice your opinions, concerns and improvments. We dont want anyone to feel in anyway that you cant come to us with concerns and complaints. We want this to be more of a close knit family rather then a group of cars and owners. Im pretty much always online so feel free to hit me up just to chill and chat too. I get bored at work so hit me up. Most of you already got my SN down so feel free.

i also think that that "pool" sugestion that came up a while back would be cool...everyone drops in 25 bux we draw a name each meet.

I know you guys are worried because a few people are wanting to expand and let more in since not everyone on this site drives a 7thgen. Which I personally think would be good to help expand the group but not go ape$hit with it and let everyone in. The site has fourms for 6th gens and RSX's which I think would be cool additions to the team.

As for monthly meets that would be nice since we planed the coming up meet WAY too far down the road in my mind. Two weeks notice is good enough time to give everyone a chance to clear there day. But we need to do stuff at the meets, not just sit around and talk. But a drawing like me and blue brought up when I was talking about having a meet at speed fetish a few months ago. I personally liked that idea it would give a chance for someone to get sometimes new. Then the next month we could hold a tech day and help em put it on. I think if we did things like that it would bring the team alot closer together. Since its like someones birthday every other month.

Just my ideas...
Corey

maybe a pool for Bday gifts would work or even every other meet..... but then its the same as a monthly membership fee.

Monthly fees and things like that is what we are talkin about. We would like to hear more from ALL members. I mean, should we have a monthly fee? And if so, how much? And IMO 2 weeks for a BIG meet is just not enough time. We will never have a so called BIG meet in two weeks notice. Maybe one month at the most. But we always have to inlclude our bros that live far from us...they might need a lil more time to make ends meet to attend. Well I say, just post more ideas about what not, and this saturday we can talk more."ONE"

Yea one reason why we plann meets almost 6 mons in advance is to give members who are travelking far distances time to save and paln what they are gonna do. So several months in advance for BIG meets will stay. We will however start having regularly scheduled meets perhaps?

im down for a meet every other month, due to the fact that i live close to 3 1/2 - 4 hours away. if were talking monthly fees then i think it should be no more than 15 per member, cause if you think of it it builds up and sometimes we gotta use money for other things.

thats my .02

My thoughts:

1. No monthly fees. A small annual fee is feasable, but what do we have that warrants $15 a month?

2. The heads are still working very hard to get things started, so please don't start talking about expanding from the original all 7thgen team idea yet. It'll be hard explaining "Stage 6,7,4" to people.

3. Bi-monthly meets sound good. There's no way that most of us would be able to make a weekly meet, and some of us probably couldn't even do once a month.

i agree w/ dragoon on #1...i mean if we come up w/ some sort of logical reason...id agree to a member fee and i know were gunna need it for banners and stuff...but why not just come up w/ the money for that stuff when we decide were gunna do it

ok once again here are my thoughts....
1. monthly fee i aint diggin.
2. pool sugestion is fine as long as its not a draw a number kinda thing....i think we should all get our part every month....ill explain sat what i meen.
3. the whole distance crap is all bs....if this crew meens somethin to us we will drive the xtra mile......this excludes yall that dont live in houston.....every other person needs to quit cryin cause we live in houston and everything is far!

I THINK WE SHOULD DO A MONTHLY MEETING LIKE THE LAST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH.

HAVE MAYBE A YEARLY FEE.

SOME T-SHIRTS.

DO NOT EXPAND(no offense to those you hang with us, who don't have a 7th gen)

A TECH MEET MAYBE EVERY TWO MONTHS.

ATTEND ALL MAJOR SHOW IN A GROUP OR FAMILY.

my idea on the whole idea on expanding would be:
1. the whole intention of starting this group was to be 7gen orientated.
2. im not trying to hate on letting others join but that would defeat the purpose of starting stage7 if your gonna change your goals.

Ok Kamahls_Civic said maybe a yearly fee...well how much does everyone think that should be if that is choosen?
And the expansion thing is something that's the least worry on our minds right now. Please understand, that as a team, OUR biggest goal right now should be to get the main chapter rollin..."TEXAS" and then from there, we can study the progress of the team, and if things don't seem to roll like it should, then we can discuss expansion at our meets.
Another question I wanted to ask all of you is this..."do you guys like the team thing to chill together at places where other teams are at? Or is it more like we can chill w/just OUR team (STAGE7) It's kinda cofusing to type, but what I'm saying is, would you peeps like to chill as a team at places like Westi or TeaWorks, or WHERE THE FAWK EVER as long as we our together as a team? If this confuses anyone, don't worry, we can talk more at this Saturday's meet."ONE"

to reply to blues question about meeting at teaworks or westi compared to at a park or somewhere were its just us... i think it would be cool to meet up with the crew first then if we decided we want to go somewhere then we can go ... so we should meet somewhere close to the bigger hang outs.. and somewhere we can eat lol...

Damn I cant talk to much on the things you guys are talking about because I'm hella far away... But like I said before I think a monthly meet sounds good... As for the pool I remember talking about that that actually sounds cool... I definitaly plan on attending all the big shows in Houston/Dallas...so the more team mates that can show with me the better... T-shirts are also coming I have my guy working on the design... Lets here some more input guys this is very informative for us heads....

well for the meets that i can make it too, it would be cool to chill with the whole group but at the same time chill with other groups to help our reps, and to get to know others.

This is where im coming from as well. No monthly fees. Yearly would be fine. The shirts, already planning them guys. Ive got some prices for some S7 shop shirts. MOnthly meets would be easy to take car of with at least 2 BIG meets a year so the other S7 members can come and maybe tech meets every two months. We have no intention of expanding as of this point tho. The whole heart of Stage7 was the fact that all members were 7thgen members. However all people are welcome to roll with us to meets and everything. THis is not to say that it wont happen. Maybe a branch off of Stage7 for other cars could be in order maybe? That way they have a crew and they can roll with us, show with us etc. As far as showing the one of the major reasona for the teams creation is to be a family but we wanted us as a team to hit shows up together as well. Side by side the Stage7 family.
