For anyone in the DFW area interested in autocrossing......
Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway the SCCA is having an event in the parking lot. I am usually the only 7th gen civic out there.

Had a good time. I got there about 3:30 and stayed and watched for about 45 minutes. All sorts of interesting cars there...MR2s, Miata, little carts, and even a Passat! I even got to ride in an AWD Talon once around the course! I can't wait till I can get a Sunday off so I can try this myself.

I think the next DFW meet should be at an auto-x.

Cool.... Glad you came out and had a good time. I did not do as well as I would have liked...came in 8th..but its all about having fun. I had already run by the time you got there. You drive a jetta or a civic?

I agree next meet should be at an auto-x. I wanted to go to the meet on Friday but had other plans.
There is another event at Mineral Wells on November 1st and 2nd.
