Well, H-town people.. I got harrassed by a certain moderator for not giving 2k1civic any money before trying to "Advertise" my shop. I guess they want to see some dollar bills. I used to be able to let you guys know about any hot deals I had for free.. because in reality I was providing a service to you! Well, although this is probably my last post here.. not only because they will ban me for this.. but because they didn't warn me about NEW rules that came into effect since I've been gone... and decided to be really rude, impatient, and immature about it. I guess that's just how FlyBoy is. I left this forum for a while.. and now I remember why. Even though there are hundreds of cool people on here.. who are still in touch with reality. There are still a bunch of **** suckers who get caught up in their "internet life" they get a title on a website and go on a power trip. I really don't care that they want my money so I can advertise.. I'd pay it if it was worth it. Honestly.. I don't need too. I make more money selling parts out of my garage, and the trunk of my car in a week than a lot of guys my age make in a month. I just like a few people on here.. and wanted to let those who know who you are that I have a bunch of bad *** deals going on right now.. and especially if you're local because you won't have to pay shipping or tax right now. seein as I got some people backin me up I might not take off yet. Well, not until I'm banned, or bored.. which ever comes first. This thread will surely get yanked though. The mods aren't wrong for stopping me from advertising. Derek has his site setup to not only give 7thgen owners a place to chill... but he's gotta make some money out of it too. No use doing all that work for free. It's when people start that gold, platinum membership crap that it gets dumb. I know the site has changed since I was last here.. but I can remember even when tornactive just posted threads in the "for sale" section (for free) I am not saying anything against tornactive.. he's got great deals.. and good products. I'm just saying that this whole "buy your advertising rights" crap on a little rinky dink site like this is silly. I'll understand once 2k1civic.com starts sponsoring huge events and car shows... then they can charge vendors for a booth. By the way my number is 281.813.2874. Thanks for the support.

I did it when we could, and I paid the fee when Derek made the rule. The fees are not that bad in my mind. No worries though , I know we offer good service, and will support these members, so they have a positive and legit place to buy parts.

Gotta spend money to make money. Thats my motto.

As for the rinky dinky site..this site is HUGE and has alot of knowledge.
On average 200+ members browsing the boards at one time and also looking for parts! . Couldnt ask for a better place!

Anyhow, just wanted to state my point, since you mentioned our business name.

Hey Rob... the fees aren't the problem dude. The problem is the way I was approached. Like I was some sort of ignorant piece of ****. I would have already given them the money and registered if I'd been asked politely NOT to advertise until I've registered as a vendor. Instead of being threatened by someone who's probably 15 years old and has no friends to play ball with outside so he chills at the computer all day earning a moderator status. 50, 100, 500 I don't care how much it costs. I like this site.. I'd like to earn a little walkin' around money from people on here. I was just a little bothered by the whole situation. As far as spending money to make money. I've done that. I'm still doing that. I don't work jobs that you have to clock in. I've always made more money than people my age cuz I know how to spend it. So, you're not really teaching me any lessons in business. Rob, you made a good point... it just wasn't a point I wasn't already aware of. As far as a "flame war" I don't do "flame wars". The first reason being is mostly because I don't say things like flame war. I surely hope none of you use phrases like that in real life. I'm not going to call you up. I never had anything against you.. and I never said anything negative about you. So, what you said about a so called flame war really didn't make much since. Now, if for some reason you have beef with me... and you want to do your flaming or whatever you call it. Then call me. Down here we really don't "flame" each other. So. anyway. You guys and gals have fun.. have a good summer.. I dont even know why this should even be an issue. Rob you guys are great, i used you several times, you hook 7thgeners up but Boost i talked to you all the time when you used to be around here. Its all business and whoever approached you should have approached you professionally. No reason to leave the site tho, there is still mad business you can get here just ignore the peeps that knock you. Congrats on the shop, i want to come and check some things out.
