Use Hood Pins!!

damn man, a word of advice to everyone who has a CF hood and DOESNT have hood pins! PUT HOOD PINS ON UR HOOD! U WILL NOT REGRET IT!! yesterday(sunday) while coming back from san jo, my hood flew up and bashed my windshield in and cracked the whole ****in thing!! i'm ****in pissed! but oh well, a lesson learned the hard way! good thing i was on the slow lane...
BTW, does anyone know how much for a new windshield?

oh yeah, i already know a lot of u are gonna ask "is ur hood busted???" lol nah, it just cracked a little bit by the windshield! but it wasnt much, maybe the size of a pinky! whew, got hella lucky there. and tho my car didnt have any damage except for the windshield i'm still pissed! seems like this car is pissin me off everyday that goes by!!!

Take your windshield through insurance and say it got hit by a (fat ***) rock on the freeway. Insurance should replace it for free.

i installed some "hood shocks" for my cf hood, so hopefully even if the latch is opened, the shocks will be able to hold the hood in place to stop it from hitting my windshield....
i was gonna show my hood shocks at the meet, but then i didn't wanna show you guys my ghetto rsx intake install
and yea...sorry to hear your windshield cracked because of it...
