Rep Power: 0 Take me off the for sure going list. I blew my auto transmission today so I am either going to do an auto-manual swap or I might just throw another auto transmission in so I don’t know if I can make it to the meet it all depends on what I chose to do.

Rep Power: 0 The thing to think about is HAP wants $1800 for everything including an LX motor or $2000 for everything and an EX motor. I could probably do a k20a3 swap for $3500 total.

Rep Power: 0 Well HAP told me $3500 for k20a3 motor, tranny and some of the other things like, subframe, axels, ect. But I would still have to buy a bunch of other things but I figure with all the small stuff like hasport motor mount so now the end price has moved up to around $4500 or more for a k20a3 swap. I could probably get a k series motor and tranny for less but I need my car to go to school and both my parents work so I can't use their cars on the weekdays.
I would love to get a turbo k series motor in my car but my pockets aren't deep enough and I need my car operational soon. Even if i did get a k20a3 untill I built it or turboed it I would actually be slower but I can rework most of my turbo kit I have for to work on the k20a3 but I would still need to buy a new downpipe, exhaust mani for sure.
I plan to go to HAP and some places on recycle road to see what the places have in stock and maybe i can haggle with them to get everything cheaper.
