There is always the paintball place off of sunrise and 65(i think) it up towards the race track(sacraceway). It is 250 acre and deeply wooded. No aturday is good but I can get them off I just need like a week or more in advance.

Spyder is good. Versatile, mod-able, looks good, reliable, shoots fast and straight. And you can get them for a good price. They are the standard beginner guy for people that want to get into it and pay for a gun. Good mid-range semi

spyders are like the hondas of paintball guns. you can modify them to hell, will last you long time, atleast everyone you know has/had one. i suggest getting a electronic, it'll cost a little more but will be worth it later on if you keep playing.

Sometime in Nov. should be good.

In the meantime, I'm unloading all my paintball gear My bank keeps trying to screw me so I need to get all the $$$ I can for stuff like food, rent, gas, etc.

Heating this winter is gonna be a problem, so if you don't live with your parents... save up now

I'd be more than happy to pick a spot, but I'm looking for information from you guys as to where you'd like to go. I don't want to pick a field just because it's close to Sacto and have it end up sucking royally. I'm asking those with paintball experience to tell me what fields are their favorites.

Also, I'm asking that people please tell me when they'll be available. Jarrod, I know you'd like for it to be in early Nov. and it's being considered.

I guess if all else fails, the default location will be in Vacaville on Nov. 5th.
*this arrangement is subject to change*

Please guys... give me some feedback... it'll make planning this thing a lot easier.

Thanks!!!

Bump... first post edited... list of folks interested added. I'd like to reserve a field just for the car people to play all day. Need a minimum of 16 between 7thGen and a couple of my other car groups. Let's get more names on that list!!

I don't know anything about paintball places in/around sacto. I have only played at places in the bay area (sunol, mt diablo, etc) so wherever you choose sounds good.

I personally prefer wooded areas rather than speedball courses

^^i dunno, i just like complete protection from my bunker. at paintball jungle or sherwood, they expect to hide behind trees that have gaps or too skinny or ackward angled. i used to play woodsball all the time but i always hated that i couldnt see all my opponents and there ways always the chance i missed someone who would pop me one if i tried to make a move....sneaky people like you, lol.

lol, I love being sneaky. Nothing quite makes me happy like sneaking up 20 feet away from one of those "pro" guys that wear all the badges and "sponsorship" patches all over them, and popping them one

Did you ever play at Mt. Diablo? I think they closed it down, but that was a freaking sweet place. They had the woods and the bunkers, and it was a whole lot of fun because it was such a nice mix. That's also the place where we executed a poor rattlesnake...

I am with you on the wooded areas. I have played at action paintball and its huuge and very wooded with a speedball course too. I am all about being sneeky just for the fact I can not run for long.

Just out of curiousity... how would you guys feel about playing on a Sunday (ie: Sunday, Nov. 6th) instead of on Saturday. The only reason I ask is because something may have come up for that Saturday... but if you guys really hate the idea of playing on Sunday then I'll see if I can postpone the other stuff.

Please let me know what you think...

That's how it is for me too... money flow is pretty nonexistant these days. I was thinking of having *yet* another yard sale on Sat. Nov. 5th to be able to have a little cash for a small vacation the weekend of Nov. 11-13th (and paintball as well), but like I said... I can push it off to another weekend if necessary.

I don't want to push this meet back any further than I have to. Would Saturday, Nov. 19th be too late?

Nov. 19th is awefully close to thanksgiving...!

I know about the cash flow, that sucks. I just threw ALL my stuff up on ebay in a desperate attempt to get the rent paid, so if I go I'll have to rent a gun (not a big deal).

It's a starting price of $200 for a TON of goodies... minimag, 2 other semis, 4 masks, 6 CO2 tanks, etc. Gotta do what you gotta do when your wife and baby are depending on you to bring in the dough.

I know it's close to Thanksgiving, but that's really the last weekend of this year we'd be able to do this. Otherwise it'd have to wait till the spring...

I know what you mean about having to put up stuff on EBay to get by... hell, I collect bottles and cans at the house to get an extra $20 for gas money nearly every month. Sad really... I mean, at least you have a family to support... I just don't make a lot... thank goodness I don't have kids yet.. I can only imagine how much I'd have to scrape by with then!

Thanks Stevo

I've never had the pleasure of playing with a Spyder in my hand. I hear they're great guns, a great mid-level Semi.

And yeah... thank for for Ebay and Craigslist

yeah spyder aint the greatest but it will do the job nicely. it has gotten me out of some tough spots, lol.

on a side note to anyone who cares...which is no one....i found this place that does custom work on paintball guns. i have a smart parts impulse which is kinda boxy shaped so i'm gonna have it milled down to a different shape, also making it lighter, custom blue fade to black paint with "neighborhood superstar" engraved on both sides in gold. yeah its gonna be pimp.
