I love days off.
I don't know how many of you work business hours on weekdays...
But I love days off. I really love them. They are so relaxing, where I can just sit back, kick back, surf the 'net, play CS, catch up on sleep, or install one of the bazillion things that I have yet to install in my car but have not yet done so.
It's just really nice. Today my wife had her pregnancy appt (37 weeks!) and so I had to take the day off (PAID - $$$) to be with her. And it's really nice. Really nice.
Just thought I'd post something up, since this forum is somewhat dead...

Next Thursday (in the last month of Pregnancy, you have an appt once a week) I get to take a half-day off. Not as good, but still good!

Rep Power: 320 yeah today was my day off too. Sux though cuz i have to work weekends. Retail sux. But i finished repainting my center console and i started blacking out my head lights for my hid retro. I'm gonna post pics when i'm finally done with everything.

Rep Power: 0 I left work at 11 today... but not because I had something fun to do. No... today I was sicker than a freaking dog. I came home, popped some meds, and crashed for the better part of the day.

BLah blah blah, my only day off is sunday, i work monday-friday 9-8 and sat 10-7 U guys think your tired? And with my job, i can't call in sick, if i do, i don't make money for the day. So yeah, i guess i love my sundays...my only day off! haha

Pretty cool how it turned out though, I guess when I asked to get off early (half day) I threw a wrench into my coworkers plans to have a surprise baby shower for me, so they changed everything around and surprised me before I left anyways, heh. I usually am not surprised, but I was totally in shock about that... a good kinda shock though 
I get another half day off on Thursday though. If I can't have a full day off, then a half day is just FINE.
