NorCal Vs. SoCal Meet IS ON. Be there or lose your points!
WHEN: Saturday, June 18, 05 (Meeting in SLO around 1:30-2:00)
WHERE: San Luis Obispo (James Way At Salida Del Sol Arroyo Grande, CA 93420) Here is a MAP
WHO: 7thgen Folks but anyone is welcome as long as they act accordingly.
ACTIVITIES:BBQ, BEACH, CRUISE, TALK, PICTURES, DINNER, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, BASICALLY SEE WHO IS GOING TO REPRESENT!
Northern Cali folks please only post if you plan to go FOR SURE ONLY. If you are a maybe then just decide on the day of the meet and come. I want an official head count for this meet so we can plan on who we need to pick up on the way and where we need to stop.
The Bay Area caravan will be meeting at 9:45AM sharp at Eastridge Shopping Mall in front of the Todai Restaurant. We will be leaving Eastridge at 10:00AM sharp. Laggers will be left behind. Please get gas and whatever you need for the ride either the day before or before you arrive at Eastridge. For people that need directions to Eastridge i will be posting them shortly. Actually I just bought a CB Radio, I hope to have that installed before the cruise down south. I have a very military-tuned mind, and I think of Cops as the bad guys (because I speed a little too much), so I figure that any intel I gather, from truckers or anyone, is useful. We'll have a number those motorola talkabout radios too, to allow us to communicate. So

I stopped in cuz I like readin about big 7thgen meets. If we could I think we'd have one every other week but we're very spread out. Instead the local groups meet all the time...mine meet once or twice a week.
Our group from ottawa was smaller than expected but one of our cars got cracked up and others had family committments. Anyway - we had a great day and even chased a Lambo for about 30 minutes on our way to Toronto (3.5 hour drive) until he finally pulled off the highway. Here's some pics of the day from start to finish. LINK
